Rent the Warehime-Myers Mansion

The Warehime-Myers Mansion, 305 Baltimore Street, Hanover, PA, may be rented for large or small parties at very attractive rates. The Mansion’s first floor features a grand entry way plus four large meeting rooms; this is duplicated around the central hall on the second floor. An elegant staircase connects the two floors. There are spacious porches on both floors. We have attractive rooms for business and private occasions:

In order to reserve a date, half of the fee is due upon signing up for your reservation.  The balance and security deposit are due no later than 30 days prior to the event.  Set up may not begin until full payment has been received.

Hours

Sunday through Thursday events must end by 10 p.m.  Friday and Saturday events must end by 11 p.m.

Outdoor Events

Rental, set-up and break-down of tents, tables, chairs, decorations and other equipment are the Lessee’s responsibility. Restroom in the Carriage House is available for use.

Food

Must be prepared by a fully licensed and insured caterer. The HAHS will consider caterers with license and insurance other than those listed below. Trays and platters may also be purchased from a caterer or grocery or box store. No homemade foods allowed.

What Is Allowed and What is Not

Activity	Allowed	Information
Alcoholic Beverages	Yes	May be sold (cash bar) by an entity officially licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. No one under the age of 21 may be served alcohol. Last call for the bar will be 30 minutes before the end of the event.
Photography	Yes	Photographs of your event are allowed. No photographs of our collections or cases are allowed without permission.
Music	Yes	Music is permitted.  Please be respectful of the surrounding neighborhood. We have the right to refuse bands due to noise restrictions.
Decorations	Yes	Nails, tape or similar fasteners are not allowed.  Rice, birdseed, confetti or non-biodegradable matter are not allowed on the property. Lighted candles and fires are not permitted on the property.
Pets	No	Service animals are allowed.
Smoking	No	Smoking is not permitted inside any building on the property nor on the grounds/lawn. Smokers must use the public sidewalks or the alley and must pick-up and dispose of their butts safely and properly.
Areas of Access	Per rental contract	Lessee and invitees are prohibited from entering areas of the property not specifically allowed by your contract.
